Privacy Policy

Effective: March 2026

DepChain provides supply chain compliance analysis for defense drone manufacturers and DoD procurement teams. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our platform.

1. Information We Collect

We collect account information you provide during registration, including your email address, name, and company name. When you upload Bill of Materials (BOM) files in CSV or XLSX format, we process those files to perform compliance analysis. We also collect basic usage analytics such as page views and feature usage to improve the platform.

2. How We Use Your Data

BOM data is used exclusively for compliance analysis — screening your supply chain components against federal lists including OFAC sanctions, BIS Entity List, FCC Covered List, and FASC covered foreign entities. Your data is never used for AI model training, sold to third parties, or shared outside the scope of delivering our service to you.

3. Data Retention

BOM uploads, analysis results, and account data are retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us, and we will process deletion requests within 30 days.

4. Third-Party Services

We use Microsoft Azure for compute infrastructure and AI-powered analysis. All data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on U.S.-based infrastructure. We do not share your uploaded data with any third-party services beyond what is required to operate the platform.

5. Cookies

We use minimal, session-only cookies required for authentication and platform functionality. We do not use third-party tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or cross-site analytics tools.

6. Security

All data in transit is encrypted with TLS 1.3. Data at rest is encrypted with AES-256. Our infrastructure is hosted entirely within the United States. Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel with role-based controls.

7. Your Rights

You may access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You may also export your data, including BOM uploads and analysis results, in standard formats. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below.

8. Changes to This Policy

We will notify users of material changes to this privacy policy via email before they take effect. Non-material updates will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.

9. Contact
